Deadline to satisfy all financial obligations with the university.                                        Deadline to submit name change forms and verification documents.
Deadline to remove students from the graduation list.
Deadline for degree candidates to update their mailing address in Self-Service. Deadline to add/verify your "Other" email address in self-service. Required to receive your digital diploma. We recommend that your "Other" email address not end in .edu. If “Other” email address is incorrect, a $25 fee will be charged to resend the diploma.

Academic Regalia
Graduates are prohibited from decorating their academic regalia.  This policy was voted in by the LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans Commencement Committee effective Spring 2024.

Last date to make corrections to name (capitalization, accent, middle name, suffix, etc.)
Last date to submit name change forms along with supporting documentation

August 1st

Deadline to remove students from the graduation list
Deadline for degree candidates to update their mailing address in Self Service
Deadline for degree candidates to update "Other" email address in Self Service with their personal email address (we recommend that you do not use an email address that ends in .edu)
